The 3-bureau credit report includes your complete credit files from all 3 credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, & Trans Union. The reports are merged and delivered online in 60 seconds. To learn more, click here. Why is my credit report and score different among the 3 bureaus?
When creditors report information to the credit bureaus, they can choose which bureau(s) they want to report to. Some report to only 1, whereas many report to all 3. When a creditor chooses only to report to 1 or 2 of the bureaus, the remaining bureaus will not have access to the other credit reports and information from the other credit bureaus.
Similarly, the credit bureaus do not share information and may report information that is inconsistent with the other bureaus.
Why is it important to check my credit report & credit score at all 3 bureaus?
When creditors, landlords, and potential employers check your credit history, they can pull your credit report & credit score from any one of the bureaus: Equifax, Experian, Trans Union. Some only check 1 bureau; some always check all 3. By checking all 3 yourself, you’ll be prepared no matter which bureaus they go to obtain your credit report file.
I wasn't able to receive my 3 Bureau Online Credit Report or the transaction failed. Was I charged?
No, we don't charge your card unless your 3 Bureau Online Credit Report is delivered. We will not charge your card if: (a) we are unable to process your request; (b) you do not pass our online identity verification process; (c) any of the 3 credit bureau systems are down. (Please see complete details regarding credit card charges and refund policy at the vendor's FAQ section).
How long does it take to get my 3 Bureau Online Credit Report and Credit Score?
After you pass our online identity verification process, you will generally receive your online credit report and credit score in 30 seconds. However, if we are unable to automatically authenticate your identity, you will receive instructions for our manual identity verification process.
Is the transaction safe?
Yes, the process of sending and receiving your credit report information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This technology helps ensure that your information is protected. Preferred web browsers are: Netscape 3.0 and later or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or later. Stringent security screening processes set up by ICSA and the credit reporting agencies are used. (To read more about the vendor's security measures, see vendor's security page).
Will receiving my online credit report through appear as an inquiry on my credit report?
Inquiries added when you request a copy of your credit report or when an employer does a credit check on your credit report do not appear to creditors. Only some of those inquiries appear to creditors and therefore impact your credit rating such as when you apply for a credit card or loan. (Anytime your credit report is pulled - including when you order a copy of your credit report directly from the credit bureau - an inquiry is added to your report, but the inquiry on your credit report will not be shown to creditors and will not affect the calculation of your credit score. However, ALL inquiries will be displayed on copies of your credit report that you order from any of the credit bureaus. This is done so YOU know who has been looking at your credit. Some inquiries on your report are accompanied by a description of why the report was pulled).
How do I dispute possible inaccuracies on my credit report?
To request an investigation into information you don't agree with on your credit report, you should write directly to the credit reporting bureau that supplied the information. A credit bureau has 30 days to investigate disputes regarding possible inaccuracies on credit reports. The credit bureau must then give you the results in writing.
Are you -- or the vendor you're promoting - a credit bureau?
No. Although we offer credit reports as an information services company, we do not gather credit data or maintain a database of credit files. That's why we refer our customers who want to dispute inaccurate information on their credit reports to the credit bureaus supplying the information.
